Rebecca Luchok-Charlson

Rebecca Luchok-Charlson

Rebecca entered into the legal profession with a passion to advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves, especially children and domestic violence survivors. Consequently, she has found her home in family law. Rebecca considers it an honor to be entrusted with the task of helping guide a client through the difficult and tumultuous time of separation and divorce. “Litigating emotions” is a complex and confusing time for clients, and she excels at compassionate listening and helping clients identify emotional roadblocks that can interfere with legal effectiveness.

As a person of faith, Rebecca is especially sensitive to those who hold strong religious beliefs of any type and yet find themselves in the often conflicting and shame inducing process of separating from one’s spouse. Her goal is to help clients leave shame at the door and be able to focus on the legal and emotional journey of healing and moving forward in a nonjudgmental and friendly environment. Due to her background in special education and having a sister on the autism spectrum, she also understands the special considerations and difficulties of custody cases involving children with special needs.
